biography

Kristen Glazer is the creator of Expedition Kristen, a travel and lifestyle blog and social media community dedicated to helping women explore the Midwest through outdoor adventure, creativity, and meaningful experiences. Originally from Long Island, Kristen moved to Minnesota 15 years ago and quickly fell in love with all the natural beauty the state has to offer. She loves to explore everything from the rugged landscapes along the North Shore, to the myriad lakes and rivers, to the charming small towns and lively cities that decorate the Midwest’s landscape.

Through her work as a travel writer and content creator, Kristen explores hidden gems across Minnesota and the Midwest. She’s passionate about bringing women together in beautiful places to share experiences that feel both restorative and inspiring. This retreat at Wild Rice Retreat reflects many of the things Kristen loves most: yoga, time outdoors, creative analog crafts, and the kind of meaningful conversations that happen when women gather away from the distractions of everyday life. Her goal is to create a welcoming space where guests can relax, try new things, connect with others, and return home feeling inspired and refreshed.
