Class description
Join Twin Cities locals Sarah Longacre and Meghan Foley for their 9th retreat at the unparalleled Wild Rice Retreat this Nov 5-8th on the magical Lake Superior.
Every retreat is different, because we create a safe place to unwind, play, breathe and connect, based on the amazing humans who show up. Think: killer playlists, real talk, big belly laughs, hands-on adjustments that make your body say thank you, and the healing power of being in nature.
This weekend retreat isn’t just about yoga (though you’ll get two unforgettable classes a day).
Expect deep rest, energetic resets, and connection. This retreat is open to all humans—ladies, gents, friends, partners... bring your crew or come solo and make new friends. It’s playtime in the woods.
Adventure + Downtime- a perfect blend for both extroverts and introverts alike.
Afternoon hikes to the local brewery and shopping in charming Bayfield.
Journaling and Seasonal Ayurvedic workshops
Long afternoon naps, fireside chats, sauna sweats
Dance parties? You know it. Always optional, never awkward.
THE FOOD. THE WINE. THE VIBES.
If your soul is craving connection, laughter, movement, stillness, nature, and actual joy—this is your sign. Book it. Bring your people. Get ready to feel like yourself again.
biography
Meghan Foley is a lifelong seeker who blends yoga philosophy, functional alignment, anatomy, and lightheartedness into her classes and private sessions. As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Yoga Therapist based in the Twin Cities, she offers weekly yoga classes, seasonal retreats, workshops, teacher trainings, and private consultations. With a deep passion for learning, Meghan has undergone extensive training in Ayurveda, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Prenatal Yoga, as well as Pelvic Floor Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Therapy, and Pilates. When she's off the mat, Meghan enjoys experimenting with new Ayurvedic recipes, crafting her own ghee and spice blends, and immersing herself in a good book. You can learn more about Meghan at www.meghanfoleyyoga.com.
Sarah Longacre is a dynamic yoga instructor, birth doula, and unapologetic dance party enthusiast who brings humor, heart, and healing to every class. Known for her cheesy jokes, soulful playlists, and deeply spiritual touch, Sarah creates a space where students can laugh, let go, and land deeply in their bodies—usually with a well-earned savasana and a sweet massage at the end.
Her yoga journey began in 1997 during college, followed by immersive training in Portland, Oregon. In 2007, she returned home to Minneapolis to open Blooma, a yoga and wellness studio that became a community hub for mamas, movers, and seekers alike. Her teaching is rooted in a philosophy of self-trust—encouraging students to listen inward, because as she says, “your body has the answers.”
Sarah’s classes flow with intention, light-heartedness, and an open invitation to show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re expecting a baby or just expecting to sweat and smile, Sarah delivers a memorable, grounding experience every time.
Come for the flow. Stay for the savasana. Leave feeling radiant.
