Anna Roesner & Eden BauerSoftening Into Sisterhood: Healing the Sister Wound on the Shores of Lake Superior
July 17-20, 2026 Go back
Softening Into Sisterhood is a deeply intentional retreat designed to gently unravel the patterns that keep us guarded in relationships with other women.
Through ritual, movement, nature immersion, and honest conversation, you’ll be supported in releasing old stories and reconnecting to the natural desire to support and weave with other beautiful women.
This is where walls begin to melt, and something more honest can take their place. You will not be asked to perform, impress, or have it all together.
Instead, you’ll be invited to: soften your defenses, speak what’s real, be witnessed in your full humanity, and experience connection that feels safe, grounded, and true
With the magic of Lake Superior surrounding us, this experience blends depth and tenderness. Come open, and leave with a new confidence to create the soul connections your heart longs for with women.

What is the Sister Wound?
The sister wound lives in the subtle places within us, the moments of comparison, the instinct to guard, the hesitation to fully trust or be seen by other women. It’s not something we created on our own, but something we’ve inherited, shaped by generations of disconnection rooted in the witch wound and reinforced by systems that have kept women separate, quiet, and turned away from one another. Yet so many of us live with the deep knowing that without our female bonds, there is something missing. We are wired for connection, for community, for walking alongside one another with care and honesty.
This retreat is an invitation to gently soften those protective layers and remember what it feels like to be in true sisterhood. A space where there is room for vulnerability, accountability, and mutual support. As women begin to heal these patterns within themselves and in relationship with one another, something powerful shifts. When women feel safe with each other, we become more resourced, more expressed, and more connected to our truth. From that place, our interpersonal relationships evolve which, in turn, helps to heal our world. A world of women together is a world that no long has a void of nurturance.
There is a part of you that longs for sisterhood, and another part that has learned to guard against it. If you’ve ever felt comparison, distance, or tension in your relationships with other women… you are not alone.
If you have felt hurt by women, you are not alone. If you have shame for being the perpetrator of hurt, you are, not alone my love. This retreat is an invitation to experience something different. To soften. To be seen. To feel safe in connection again.
