Mantra Yoga is a part of Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound. A mantra is a precise combination of sacred syllables from the Sanskrit language that form a nucleus of spiritual energy. Calming and grounding, Sanskrit mantras help unwind and dissolve restrictive patterns in the subtle body, creating space for increased vibrancy, clarity, and opening to a luminous natural state. We will explore mantra as a support and enhancement for seated meditation, restorative yoga poses, Yoga Nidra, and Savasana.
$85 for the one day workshop, includes lunch
Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat, though Wild Rice Retreat offers a number of mats and props for use on-site.
