biography

Theresa: Yoga has always been a gift to me ever since I was first introduced to Yoga in high school in the 90s. Yoga has offered so many benefits to my life. Throughout the years it has been a wonderful tool for me to use to handle stress and anxiety. It has been there to provide strength, balance, and flexibility in my body. It is also been there to feed my soul, find my breath, and calm my mind. So here I am, feeling the urge and necessity to share the gift of yoga. It has now become a passion of mine to share all of the benefits of yoga for the mind, body, and soul in all the possible ways I can.

I'm also the owner of an organic nontoxic, hair salon suite business, travel agent and love to plan wonderful adventures for all, and the mother of a sweet, brilliant, big hearted, nine-year-old little girl. I'm also a major outdoor enthusiast and love all of the outdoor activities. Any form of creation and art is one of my fields of passion as well. 

I currently teach a yoga class every week at a local studio in Janesville, Wisconsin. I offer private lessons and I love to travel and offer wellness retreats as well. I attended a wonderful yoga school outside of Chicago in 2019 and completed my 300 hour yoga teacher training in 2020. I have been sharing the gifts of yoga ever since. Currently, I am working on my 500 hour yoga teacher training certification and my Ayurveda certificate. 

Johanna: Johanna believes in the body’s natural ability to heal and encourages overall wellness through each person's unique connection to movement, food, and spiritual practices.  Acknowledging that the small habits we practice each day are who we eventually become, she has found her passion and purpose of sharing the ancient practices of yoga, ayurveda, meditation, and reiki with the community.

With a long-time passion for health and wellness, she holds certifications as an Ayurvedic health counselor, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, and meditation guide.  She is currently enhancing her studies in massage therapy and is training to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner - a program which will take her on an adventure to India for a whole month next year.

Johanna is compassionate, loves to help and learn, and will always listen before anything else.  Her dream of spreading knowledge and sharing healing in the community guided her to open a holistic wellness studio, Four Wings Wellness, in her hometown of Cedarburg, WI.  Here she offers a safe space for group and private yoga classes, ayurvedic consultations, reiki treatments, infrared sauna sessions, and guided meditation classes.  She only hopes to bring more peace, healing, and happiness into your life by opening your eyes to what makes your heart sincerely happy in this lifetime.

Shelby: In 2004 Shelby was first introduced to yoga - the seed was planted. It wasn't until 9 years later that she discovered her true love and appreciation for the healing practices of yoga. Her personal practice and teaching as evolved through self awareness, breath practices, meditation, gratitude, and leading with an open heart. 

Her thoughtful and alignment based classes feature sequencing with an emphasis on health of the spine and nervous system. Through mindful movement and somatic practices, Shelby aims to guide each individual to discover the power of their own voice and to strengthen higher self connection. Her classes are energy centered to create an environment of equanimity - restoring balance in the body and mind. 

Shelby's intention is to create a safe space for everyone to feel welcome - showing up just as they are and comfortable in their bodies while they're practicing on and off the mat. 

Supply List

Please bring a swim suit for the sauna, hiking/tennis shoes with tread, a water bottle, and snacks for in between meals if desired.
